New Paradigms in
Clinical Technology
The BAM Project
NeuroTraq moved into the Miller Business Innovation Center (MBIC) business incubator facility in June of 2006.  Our new location is in the Corporate Partnership Center Building, part of the Salt Lake Community College Miller Business Center Campus in Sandy, Utah.

The MBIC provides access to nice meeting and conference rooms and a host of support services.  We will also have full on-line access to the local University library system for research purposes, and we are assigned professional business counselors and mentors through the college.
Almost as important is the supportive entrepreneurial atmosphere and idea exchanges between innovative companies at the Miller Center.

NeuroTraq Tours CVRTI Facility
The Nora Eccles Harrison Cardiovasular Research and Training Institute (CVRTI) at  the University of Utah conducts advanced research on cardiac electrophysiology.  Dr. Bonnie Punske is one of the CVRTI researchers consulting with NeuroTraq on the analysis of electrocardiogram (ECG) signals to extract data reflecting autonomic nervous system status and responses.  Dr. Punske recently led some NeuroTraq staff on a tour of the CVRTI facilities, as seen in the picture at the right.

CVRTI has an exceptionally talented academic staff dedicated to research on cardiac electrophysiology.   NeuroTraq expects to be a regular attendee at their monthly research in progress seminars.  For more information about CVRTI, visit their Institute web site at http://www.cvrti.utah.edu/ .
Dr. Punske and Phil Davis talk in one of the CVRTI optical imaging laboratories.

NTQ Business Plan Feedback
Here are a couple of links to related to our abbreviated business plan that was offered for review by investors earlier in the year.  The initial submission was for a business plan competition during the Utah Economic Summit this past spring.  This Investor Blog indicates how we stacked up against the 110 other business plans that were submitted.  A slightly modified version of the same plan was reviewed by the Wayne Brown Institute, a non-profit venture capital incubator, during the summer. Their review comments can be found Here.  There is more work to be done, and our business team is currently expanding the plan and making it even better.
