NeuroTraq, Inc. is a Utah corporation located near Salt Lake City. Key personnel in NeuroTraq include:

John O. Bell, BS - Founder, President, Chairman, CTO, and interim CEO.
Mr. Bell is a retired systems engineer from a well known FFRDC, or think tank. Since retiring he has volunteered support for local technology companies. His EASE technology patents are now exclusively licensed to NeuroTraq.

D. Kent Backman, Ph D - Director, VP Technology Development. Dr. Backman was the VP of Research and Development at Merit Medical Systems where he invented and developed important patents and intellectual property.

Dr. Bonnie Punske, Ph D - Principal Researcher. Dr. Punske is a researcher in the Cardiovascular Research and Training Institute at the University of Utah. She is an expert in the field of cardiac electrophysiology and electrocardiogram analysis.

Philip J. Davis, Ph D - VP Research. Dr. Davis is a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Physiology, University of Utah. He specializes in pain management and the immune system. He works with veteran organizations, hospitals, and clinics in Utah.

Xiaoming Sheng, Ph D - Senior Statistical Analyst. Dr. Sheng is a Research Assistant Professor and Biostatistician in the Public Health Program at the University of Utah. He is studying multivariate biometric parameter correlations with discrete cardiovascular issues and neuro-physiological status.

NeuroTraq is a privately held company, incorporated and registered in Utah. The capital structure currently consists of a significant investment by NeuroTraq founders and management.

NeuroTraq's special on-line database facilitates the development of BAM technology by providing rapid review and access for our collection of bio-signals. The current collection contains over 3,000 segments of ECG data. This data will be processed to determine parametric relationships as potential bio-markers for certain cardiovascular conditions. The ECG data collection is expected to double in size by the end of this year.

The image at the right is a Java interface developed to provide NeuroTraq analysts with tools to quickly screen and access records in our unique on-line bio-signal database. Segments of ECG data from 5 minutes to 30 minutes in length, and categorized by cardiovascular status, are currently being processed and analyzed to determine how certain ECG parameter complexes relate to specific cardiovascular conditions.

The NeuroTraq bio-signal database will host a variety of bio-signal collections, including EEG records, as well as ECG data. The methods used in NeuroTraq's analyses will be translated into software tools for developing BAM bio-markers to indicate neuro-physiological status in specific areas related to cardiovascular and neurological conditions. It is expected that BAM bio-markers will be broadly used in medical research, for disease diagnosis and risk assessment, and to monitor and assess the efficacy and safety of therapeutic treatments.
